Extensive white sand beaches border Corralejo. Highlights include Grandes Playas, Playa del Burro, where the annual International Kite Festival is held, or the naturist beach Playa Abajo Negro, the latter two within the Natural Park of the Dunes.
The Natural Park of Corralejo is one of the main tourist attractions of Fuerteventura. Its dunes are the largest in the Canary Islands. From the marina of Corralejo you can visit by ferry the Isla de Lobos, a protected area of great scenic value, where you can visit the lighthouse, the beach of La Calera or the volcanic cone of the caldera of La Montaña.
The town has leisure for all tastes and ages. Stores, shopping centers, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, diving schools, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, guided tours in all-terrain vehicles, spas… Be sure to visit the Oasis Park or Acua Water Park to spend a great day with the family, and if you are a speed lover, why not try land sailing?
